Final Score: Eagles 29, Bears 14

Weather at Kickoff: 73°F (Clear)

Key Notes: Monday Night Football. The stage was set for a statement win at home, and the statement we made was, "We’d like to retire, please." This was the night Carson Wentz looked like the second coming of John Elway while our defense looked like they were playing on ice skates. But the real kicker was the "Jay Cutler Thumb Saga." Watching Jay walk off that field with that "I'm over this" look on his face was a mood. Little did we know, it was the beginning of the end for No. 6 in Chicago.

The second half was just a slow-motion car crash. We were down 9-7 at one point—totally manageable—and then we just decided to stop participating. We gave up 20 unanswered points. I remember sitting on my couch thinking, "At least the weather is nice," because there was absolutely nothing on the field to cheer for. By the fourth quarter, the only thing more empty than our scoring column was the Soldier Field stands.
